YORK COUNTY, Va. – The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Workplace warns residents of a rip-off demanding bitcoin.
Officers say they’ve obtained many calls over the weekend relating to an electronic mail rip-off.
The e-mail claims to have video of the resident visiting pornographic websites and threatened to ship it to household, except despatched bitcoin.
The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Workplace says don’t be fooled by the e-mail.
